Welcome to Local 4406!
Welcome to the official website of the Hendricks County
Professional Firefighters Local 4406. This local is affiliated with the
International Association of Firefighters and the Professional
Firefighters Union of Indiana. Local 4406 proudly represents 200+
firefighters and paramedics from Avon, Brownsburg, Danville, Pittsboro,
and Plainfield fire departments. We are dedicated to protecting life
and property to those within our communities, while simultaneously
protecting our member’s health, safety and financial well being.
On
January 1st 2007, Avon, Brownsburg, Pittsboro, and Plainfield
firefighters broke away from Indianapolis Professional Firefighters
Local 416 to join the already established Hendricks County Professional
Firefighters Local 4406 (Danville Fire.)
We
hope this website serves as a valuable source of information for our
members and other IAFF locals. We encourage visitors to explore our
